Description: Medium shot from the focsle to A and B turrets and bridge - a canvas hatch tent is in the immediate foreground. Starboard barrel of A turret elevates, and port semaphore begins signalling. Camera pans right to show ship's boat being lifted inboard by a derrick - crewmen come forward to secure the wire rope around a bollard in the foreground. Pan down from the foremast control top to A turret, and right, to the portside of the ship, where a paravane is being hoisted outboard on a davit (cf IWM 591).
Scenes onboard HMS Canada.
